A Premises Licence is granted in the terms applied for.
Our reasons for reaching the decision are as follows:
There is no substantial evidence to prevent the granting of the licence having regard to all the representations made by the parties, whether in person or in writing. Should there be issues arising in the future, then there exists the facility for a review of the licence.
We did not consider the following matters to be relevant::
Representation by Applicant’s family member.
We found the following facts::
The Application was for a new premises selling craft beers and alcohol.
It is a small former shop premises which can accommodate up to 18 internal patrons with others outside in the courtyard.
The outside area is a courtyard which is not on the public right of way.
There is no evidence of any anti-social behaviour arising from the use of the Snug, nor any specific actions against the licensing objectives.
