This report relates back to the main Long Term Operating Model for One Leisure report presented and approved by Cabinet in March 2024. A recommendation of this report was to re-visit O&S and Cabinet after 12 months and provide an update on all of the recommendations that the original report specified.
The Cabinet
(a) noted the progress of actions identified within the report over the last 12 months;
(b) commented on the progress that has been made on the 22 actions identified within the Year 1 – Transformation Progress Report of Actions & Recommendations from the Long-Term Operating Model for One Leisure undertaken by First Point Management; and
(c) acknowledged and accepted the key actions from the associated summary presentation and outlined within Section 4 of the report.
To fulfil the commitment made to Council that One Leisure would return and provide an update on all recommendations and actions stemming from the Independent Review of the Long-Term Operating Model for One Leisure.
To allow Councillors to review, comment, and feedback on the progress One Leisure have made on all recommendations and actions over the last 12 months.
To acknowledge the actions outlined in Section 4 of this report which One Leisure have incorporated into its service plans for completion through 2025-2026.
