Section 69 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 places duties on local planning authorities to formulate and publish proposals for the preservation and enhancement of it conservation areas. The report describes the technical and consultation processes that have informed the proposed Boundary Review and Character Assessment of the Houghton and Wyton Conservation Area.
