Purpose:
To allocate £60k in the 2015/2016 financial year from the Community Chest Award Scheme.

Reasons for the decision:
To determine awards from the Community Chest funds to assist small-scale or short-term village/community initatives.
Alternative options considered:
All options were outlined in the Officer’s report. Table 1 detailed applications recommended for approval; Table 2 detailed applications not recommended for approval on the basis that they failed to meet the criteria against which applications were assessed; and Table 3 detailed applications recommended for approval subject to available funding.
Resource Implications:
£60,000 which is within the 2015/2016 budget.
