Commends the letter and that an amended version be sent from the Chairman of the Overview and Scrutiny Panel (Communities and Environment).

Reasons for the decision:

The Overview and Scrutiny Panel (Communities and Customers) had concerns about the proposed merger and the processes being followed to develop the Full Business Case. The Panel invited the Cabinet to endorse the response.
