Purpose:
To provide an update on the development of the Corporate Plan 2018/2022 and allow an opportunity for final comments prior to submission to Council.
Decision:
i. that the Cabinet provides final comment on the Corporate Plan 2018–2022; and
RECOMMENDS TO COUNCIL
ii. that the Corporate Plan 2018 - 2022 be adopted.
Reasons for the decision:
The Corporate Plan provides a clear vision with strategic priorities, setting out its objectives and how these will be achieved. The new Plan has been prepared for a longer time period to coincide with the new four year electoral cycle.
Alternative options considered:
None considered.
Resource Implications:
None anticipated as Service Plans have been are being prepared for 2018/19 to support the Corporate Plan.
