    Decision:

    The Cabinet has recommended to Council approval of the following:

     

    §  Treasury Management Strategy as outlined in Appendix 1;

    §  The Capital Strategy as outlined in Appendix 2;

    §  The Investment Strategy as outlined in Appendix 3;

    §  The Minimum Revenue Provision Statement as outlined in Appendix 4; and

    §  The Flexible Use of Capital Receipts Strategy as outlined in Appendix 5.

    Minutes:

    Consideration was given to a report by the Finance Manager (a copy of which is appended in the Minute Book) seeking approval of the Treasury Management, Capital, Investment and Flexible Use of Capital Receipts Strategies and the Minimum Revenue Provision Statement. Whereupon, it was

     

    RESOLVED

     

    that Council be recommended to approve:

     

    (a)  the Treasury Management Strategy (as attached as Appendix 1 of the report now submitted);

     

    (b)  the Capital Strategy (as attached as Appendix 2 of the report now submitted);

     

    (c)  the Investment Strategy (as attached as Appendix 3 of the report now submitted);

     

    (d)  the Minimum Revenue Provision Statement (as attached as Appendix 4 of the report now submitted); and

     

    (e)  the Flexible Use of Capital Receipts Strategy (as attached as Appendix 5 of the report now submitted).

    Minutes:

    With the aid of a report by the Finance Manager (a copy of which has been appended in the Minute Book) the Treasury Management Strategy was presented to the Panel. Members were informed that the Treasury Management Strategy was a prescribed set of documents that must be presented each year and that it set out a framework how the Council operated.

     

    RESOLVED

     

    that the Cabinet be recommended to endorse the Treasury Management Strategy, the Capital Strategy, the Investment Strategy, the Minimum Revenue Provision Statement and the Flexible Use of Capital Receipts Strategy for submission to the Council.
