The Executive Councillor for Open Spaces, Waste and Street Scene made reference to the impact of recent flooding events upon the Hinchingbrooke Country Park development project and the postponement of the Wild about Huntingdonshire event, the appointment of a new Commercial Manager post and the various festive events that would be taking place at the Country Park in December 2024. In terms of the former, Cabinet Members were encouraged to note that whilst the flooding had resulted in some delays, it would not impact upon the planned completion date of the project which was still on track.
