Decision:
The Cabinet has
(1) appointed to the organisations and partnerships referred to in Appendix 1;
(2) agreed to not appoint to those organisations and partnerships as indicated in Appendix 1; and
(3) agreed that in the event that change or new appointments are required to the District Council’s representation during the course of the two-year term, authority be delegated to the Elections and Democratic Services Manager, after consultation with the Executive Leader and Deputy Executive Leader to nominate and authorise alternative representatives as necessary.

The Cabinet considered a report prepared by Democratic Services (a copy of which is appended in the Minute Book) regarding the Council’s representation on a variety of organisations/partnerships.
The Leader introduced the report.
In response to a question from the Cabinet regarding the Oxford to Cambridge Pan Regional Partnership which had formally closed having delivered its 2023-2025 work programme, the Chief Executive advised that there was not as yet anything as formal as that previous arrangement. At the current moment it was the Mayoral authorities and upper tiered authorities that tended to be represented on such boards, but the Council was doing it’s best for the District to be represented where possible. It was an area Officers were very keen to get the best for residents as the Oxford-Cambridge corridor stretched into and beyond Huntingdonshire, so Officers wanted to be involved in those conversations and draw out the opportunities where they existed.

RESOLVED
that
the Cabinet
(1) appointed to the organisations and partnerships referred to in Appendix 1;
(2) agreed to not appoint to those organisations and partnerships as indicated in Appendix 1; and
