    The Minutes of the meetings of the Committee held on 20th April and 21st May 2026 were approved as correct records and signed by the Chair.

    Minutes:

    Councillor D McIlwain declared Non-Registrable Interests in Minute Nos 7 (a) and 7 (b) by virtue of the fact that the applications related to the Ward he represents.

    To consider reports by the Planning Service Manager (Development Management).

    Minutes:

    The Planning Service Manager (Development Management) submitted reports (copies of which are appended in the Minute Book) on applications for development to be determined by the Committee. Members were advised of further representations, which had been received since the reports had been prepared. Whereupon, it was

    Proposed residential development of 21no homes including road infrastructure, landscaping and other associated infrastructure - Land West of Longlands Close, Warboys.

    (Dr S Lawson-Turner, Objector, and J Gandy, Agent, addressed the Committee on the application).

    that the Head of Planning, Infrastructure & Public Protection be given delegated powers to grant permission for the development subject to:

     

    1. The Committee delegates authority to finalise the technical resolution of the BNG baseline and the receipt of a countersigned Impact Assessment and Conservation Payment Certificate (IACPC) to the Planning Service Manager;

     

    1. The Committee delegates authority to finalise the terms and completion of the S.106 agreement to the Planning Service Manager; and

     

    1. Following the completion of the S.106 agreement, the application be approved subject to the conditions listed in section 9 of the report now submitted and any amendments as deemed necessary.

    Minutes:

    The Committee received and noted a report by the Planning Service Manager (Development Management), which contained details of thirteen recent decisions by the Planning Inspectorate. A copy of the report is appended in the Minute Book.
